And We're 0 for 3 in the Mashed Potato Department

She kept going back for more and more, with such optimism that the next bite would surely be something delicious!
I'm just baffled that none of our kids like mashed potatoes! One of my favorite foods! How could they do that to me? How can I make a pot pie without a layer of mashed potatoes in there? What's a thanksgiving dinner without a little volcano shaped pile of potatoes, gravy oozing over the sides?

OH my goodness! That is hilarious. It took my kids a while to enjoy the mashed potatoes, too. This year, I think everyone except Ella ate them. William LOVES them. Just give it time, dearie, give it time. There is no way that all three of them will go on hating the mashed potatoes forever. No way.

I second what Kristen said. They will come around. None of my boys liked them as babies. In fact as of last year, none of my boys had any desire to eat them. This Thanksgiving I said, "screw mashed potatoes, nobody eats them"...and what do you think Hayden asked for...yup, mashed potatoes. Claims he loves them now. Go figure.

OMG that is hilarious! Nicholas used to love mashed sweet potatoes and now won't touch them...won't do regular mashed potatoes either. You'll just have to do a biscuit topping for that pot pie!

How can anyone not like mashed potatoes?!? It still boggles my mind. I hope they come around soon!
